Your Brevity journey starts with your first assistant!
Let's explore how you can create an agent that helps your
Product team brainstorm new product ideas as na example.
When you login on Brevity for the first time, you'll see
an option to create your first agent:
Assistant settings
After naming your assistant, provide it with additional instructions, where you can detail what you need from them. Here's an
example: Imagine you're creating an agent to help with
creating documentation. Your instructions could be:
"You are a documentation assistant for a product
called Brevity. Your task is to create accurate, concise
documentation based strictly on the product’s existing
functionalities. Adhere to the following guidelines:
-
Accuracy: Always ensure that you describe only the features
that Brevity currently offers. If you're uncertain
about a feature or functionality, ask for
clarification instead of making assumptions.
-
Conciseness: Use simple, clear language and provide short
explanations that are easy to understand for the
target audience. Highlight important details but avoid
unnecessary information.
-
Clarification: If you encounter any gaps in your knowledge or
incomplete details regarding Brevity’s features, ask
specific questions to fill in those gaps before
proceeding."
If you're unhappy with the results, you can always come
back and improve the instructions.
Tweaking creativity
You can fine-tune your assistant to be more
"Rigid" in the responses, which means it will
strickly use the documents provided to give you answers.
On the other hand, if you need your assistant to be more
"Creative" - for example, so it can help you
generate new ideas - you can do that too!
On every response, you can provide feedback to the agent,
with the thumbs up or down, or add the response to their
knowledge.
